Advanced notice:
We typically require at least 72 hours advanced notice for all standard room decorating and picnic orders. Special requests may necessitate more notice.

Cancellations:
‘Recipe for Romance’ boxes are typically processed immediately and shipped within one business day. Due to speedy processing, gift boxes
and gift items cannot be cancelled once they are ordered.

A 48 hour minimum cancellation notice is required for all room decorating and picnics. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled time,
are subject to a $25 restocking fee that will be deducted from your refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled time will be charged
50% of the total package cost. If you provide incorrect hotel guest registration information or are a "no show" you will be charged 100% of the
total price.

Product substitutions:
In the event that one of our products becomes unavailable, we will gladly replace it with a similar product of equal or greater value.
All images shown on the website are representations only. Product manufacturer and product specifics are subject to change at any time
due to availibility and pricing. All substitutions will be of equal or greater value and quality.

Candles and hotels:
Though we include aromatherapy candles and body candles in some of our Recipe for Romance boxes and room decorating packages, not all
hotels allow the burning of candles. It is your responsibility to check with the hotel you are staying at ahead of time. If your hotel does not allow
the burning of candles we will gladly substitute a product of equal value or add extra LED votive lights. You may also take your candles home for
later use or save them as a keepsake of your special night. Taking the time to read, understand, and practice these safety tips will help insure
your experience is a pleasant one.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not burn near flammable objects such as curtains, lampshades, or blankets 
• Burn only on heat resistant surfaces - they can become hot enough to damage furniture
• Do not move a burning candle, or place in a draft 
• Keep candle free of foreign material - matches, wick clippings
• Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch (about the thickness of a pencil) to avoid excessive smoking
• Do not burn if container is cracked
• Discontinue burning when less than 1/2 inch of wax remains 

Picnics:
To have a successful picnic experience timing is crucial. The Romance By Design representative setting up your picnic can not leave
your items unattended. They will be watched from a discreet distance until your arrival. Food also needs to be kept fresh and at safe
temperatures. In the event that you are late for your appointed time you will be charged an additional $25.00 after fifteen minutes.After
one half hour we will consider you a no show, pack up and leave. You will be charged full price for the picnic plus a total of $50.00
extra time and labor.

Shipping:
During warm months from April to mid-October, boxes containing chocolates may need a cold pack to prevent melting during shipping.
When the temperature is above 70 degrees Romance By Design highly recommends a second day shipping option be used.
If you choose not to use second day shipping Romance By Design will not be responsible for melted products.

Romance By Design ships our products by UPS standard ground shipping. 2nd day and overnight delivery available for an additional fee.

Returns:
We take the utmost care in packaging our items to insure they arrive undamaged. However in the event that something arrives damaged or
broken please contact us we will gladly and promptly send a replacement.

Room Decorating:
Romance By Design can typically decorate at any hotel provided that you sign a waiver and we arrange to have a hotel employee
let us in the room.
